The A5 Rangers Cycling Club welcomes all riders to our time trials.
These events are run according to Cycling Time Trials regulations, which require all participants to wear a hard-shell helmet and carry working front (white) and rear (red) lights.
The minimum age for competitors is 12 years. It is essential that competitors under 18 know the law and the Highway Code and are competent to ride on public roads alone.
A CTT Parental Consent form must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian for riders under 18.
Riders must have signed on 15 minutes before the published time of start, to allow the timekeeper to set the field and issue race numbers.
You’re welcome to come along, pay the fee, sign up and race to complete the distance individually as fast as you can.
Although the races against the clock are testing, the atmosphere before and after is relaxed and the banter is enjoyable and good advice freely given.
We promote small scale club races at 5 and 10 miles with a 1mile hill climb in the autumn.
The timekeeper will record all the times and our marshals and signs en-route indicate the direction.
